Health Care Practitioner
Shmuel Berger has designed a 6 level curriculum of the Art of Subtle Palpation. This curriculum teaches the participant the foundations of Osteopathy as taught by John Upledger, Fritz Smith, and Jean Pierre Baral. In addition, the participant learns to create a safe healing space, and learns the foundations of the energetic relationship between the therapist and client. The therapist also learns self-help techniques to stay healthy and energized in order to more effectively treat his patients. The more advanced levels deal with the Jewish Kabalistic model of healing and treatment.Participation in the courses and proficiency in the techniques are prerequisites for the Practitioner to work at the Holistic Health Center.(Each Level 30-40 hours)
Heart-Centered Therapies -“Healing from the Heart” . Minda Garr, MSW, ACHT.
Short workshops can be designed to meet group needs, such as weight loss, relaxation and stress reduction, and personal and spiritual growth.
The modalities of heart-centered therapies integrate Western and Eastern, emotional and spiritual approaches to holistic healing. Heart-centered therapies draw on an understanding of emotional development from conception to death; on the significant role played by the chakras; the role of the subtle energy bodies; as well as elements of Gestalt therapy and transpersonal psychology. Therapist and client enter together on a journey in pursuit of emotional and spiritual healing, as they seek the source of internal blockages and deeply buried trauma.
Techniques combining deep relaxation, guided imagery, regression, breathwork and subtle energy work contribute to the healing process.
The modalities of heart-centered therapies are appropriate to the healing of:
· fears and phobias
· traumas
· childhood abuse
· issues of self-esteem
· depression
· relationship issues
· negative thinking
· addictions
· weight issues
· bereavement issues
· birth issues
· attachment and abandonment issues
· mind-body issues
· sexual identity issues
· past life issues
The healing journey of each individual is unique, responding to his/her own inner needs. The therapist is a guide on this journey, who has been entrusted and honored with the facilitation of the healing process. However it is the client who uncovers his/her own inner truths.
Our healing process unfolds as we heal the child within, the inner essence of who we are, releasing the loving energy that leads to personal transformation.
Teachers/Administrators in the Israeli School System
The Holistic Center recognizes that violence in society and in the school system in particular is a growing problem. The Center will work with Teachers and Administrators and train them in clinically proven programs to reduce violence in the schools. In addition the Center will train staff to identify problems such as learning disabilities and ADD/ADHD and help treat the students with proven methods in the school environment.
